Public Information Opportunities
WEST BEND, Wis. (November 15, 2017) –The City of West Bend Long-Range Transportation Planning committee will be hosting three opportunities for citizens to provide their opinion, thoughts and concerns regarding the condition of city streets. Funding sources and a possible advisory referendum will be discussed at each meeting. The committee encourages everyone to attend to participate. Dates are:
West Bend Library (630 Poplar Street) conference room, Monday, November 27, 2017 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – An open house regarding the condition of West Bend City Streets. This meeting will feature a presentation by City Engineer Max Marechal. Funding sources and a possible advisory referendum will be discussed.
Coffee in the Police Department Classroom, (City Hall, 1115 S. Main Street) Thursday, November 30, 2017 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. - A round table discussion with Committee Chair Rich Kasten, City Engineer Max Marechal, and City Administrator Jay Shambeau.
City Council listening session, (City Hall Council Chambers, 1115 S. Main Street) Monday, December 18, 2017 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – This is a great opportunity to express thoughts and concerns before council members regarding the condition of city streets and a possible advisory referendum.
