Traffic Signal Repairs/Signal Outage

 

West Bend, Wis. (February 13, 2018) – The City of West Bend Public Works Department will be replacing a traffic signal control cabinet located at the intersection of W. Washington St (Hwy 33) and N. 18th Ave.  To reduce traffic disruptions, crews will be completing this work during the overnight hours, starting at 1 a.m. on Friday, February 16th

As part of this procedure, the traffic signals will be disabled and power shut down. The intersection power shut down is expected to take 2-3 hours before power is restored.

The City of West Bend Police Department will be assisting with traffic control during the intersection shut down.  Motorists are asked to exercise caution, observe construction signs, obey flagmen, and be alert for heavy construction equipment while work is in progress.
