The City of West Bend is taking applications for a full-time Human Resources Analyst. This position is responsible for performing human resources administrative work and providing for analysis of various human resources programs and initiatives. Duties include: administering employee benefits; inputting and maintaining all employees in the Munis HR/Payroll system; reviewing and processing paperwork for workers compensation, unemployment compensation, liability, disability, health, dental and vision insurances, flexible spending and FMLA; coordinates risk management program; responsible for the city’s pre-employment drug and alcohol testing program; coordinates the recruitment and orientation of new employees.; prepares job postings, advertisements and descriptions and analyzes the need and placement of ads; updates and ensures maintenance of personnel records, insurance, medical and general files; processes payment of department related invoices in Munis Financial system; review, interpret and recommend policy, process or program improvements; prepares required Federal and State reports and completes questionnaires and surveys; and organizes and responsible for completion of Health Risk Assessment program including health awareness seminars, health coaching activities and monitoring employee compliance.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration or related field and two to three years of human resources work experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The starting salary is $43,680 - $46,800 (DOQ), with benefits. Applications will be accepted until the needs of the department are met.
