Curbside Collection of Brush:

 

The Department of Public Works picks up brush on the second and last Fridays of the month, from April thru October.   The last brush collection for 2010 will be October 29th.

During the non-collection months, brush can be brought to the City Garage at 251 Municipal Drive.  For hours of operation and map to City Garage, click here.

 

Branches should be no longer than 4 feet, and no wider than 6 inches in diameter.  Place them between the sidewalk and curb with the cut end facing the curb. Properties are limited to one brush pile with dimensions no larger than 4' x 4' x 4' per collection day.

 

Remove all wire and nails.  Do not include any stumps or root balls.  Materials cleared from lots or undeveloped property WILL NOT be collected but can be brought to the City Garage.  For hours of operation and map to City Garage, click here.

 

Wood grindings from the brush collection are available FREE to anyone.  Call the Public Works information line at 335-5060 for availability.  All wood grindings must have a tarp before leaving the garage.  We reserve the right to limit quantities.
