2010 Free Street Tree Program
The City of West Bend's Park & Forestry Division is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the city by
enhancing and maintaining the surrounding environment through the planting and upkeep of our Urban
Forest. With the support of the West Bend Beautification Committee's generous donation and efforts, we
will be offering the Free Street program again in 2011.

Want to Plant a Tree by the Street?
If you want to plant a tree at your residence within the public right-of-way along city streets
click here to see the planting regulations and application.
This application must be submitted before the purchase of tree(s). The area will be staked by
the Forestry Department for planting. and once approved the property owner needs to contact
Diggers Hotline. Permit will be mailed to property owner.

West Bend Tree Nursery
In the Spring of 2003, the Park & Forestry staff planted 100 ‘whips’ at Riverside Park
and started the City’s tree nursery. Eventually, these trees will be utilized as part of the Street
Tree program and within our park system
