Emergency Government

 

Responsibilities:

The City of West Bend Division of Emergency Management’s responsibility is to:

 

  • Maintain an effective emergency management program consistent with the State Emergency Operations Plan pursuant to Wisconsin Statute section 166.03(4).

 

  • Maintain an Emergency Government Director pursuant to Wisconsin Statute section 166.03(4).

 

  • Provide resources for emergency management preparedness and response to enable the City to protect people, property and the environment and fulfill its responsibilities pursuant to Wisconsin Statute section 166.03(4)-(5).

 

  • Ensure City agencies and officials participate in and support emergency management planning, training and exercising.

 

  • Coordinate with the Washington County Emergency Government Director to develop emergency management plans, conduct emergency management training and exercising and integrate them into the Washington County Emergency Operations Plan pursuant to Wisconsin Statute section 166.03(5)(b).
