Responsibilities:
The function of the Human Resources Division of the City Attorney's Office is to provide comprehensive Personnel services for the City, including the Water and Sewer Utilities.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Labor Negotiations
- Contract Administration
- Employment (Recruitment, Selection, and Retention)
- Maintenance of Personnel Records
- Compensation Administration
- Salary Administration
- Safety; Risk Management
- Compliance with Employment-Related Laws
- Administration of Employees’ Benefit Plans including:
- Worker’s Compensation
- Unemployment Compensation
- Health Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Disability Insurance
- Deferred Compensation
- Section 125 and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement Fund.
