Human Resources

Responsibilities:


The function of the Human Resources Division of the City Attorney's Office is to provide comprehensive Personnel services for the City, including the Water and Sewer Utilities.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Labor Negotiations
  • Contract Administration
  • Employment (Recruitment, Selection, and Retention)
  • Maintenance of Personnel Records
  • Compensation Administration
  • Salary Administration
  • Safety; Risk Management
  • Compliance with Employment-Related Laws
  • Administration of Employees’ Benefit Plans including:
  • Worker’s Compensation
  • Unemployment Compensation
  • Health Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Deferred Compensation
  • Section 125 and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement Fund.
