The West Bend Municipal Airport is located on the east side of the City of West Bend adjacent to Stat e Highway 33. The Airport was established in 1928 as a grass landing field. The airport runways remained grass strips until the 1950's when the first concrete runway was constructed.
The West Bend Airport is classified as a general utility-corporate airport which is designed to handle single and twin-engine aircraft as well as corporate jets. West Bend does not have scheduled air carrier services.
Hangar space in the form of T-Hangars and commercial hangars is available at the airport along with tie-down areas. The West Bend Municipal Airport is serviced by a system of standard navigational equipment.
