West Bend, Wis. (November 6, 2019): On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, the City of West Bend launched a newly redesigned city website at www.ci.west-bend.wi.us. This is the same web address the City of West Bend has had in the past but is now more user friendly.
The process for a new website began in late 2018 with requests for proposal (RFP) and Revize was selected after review and careful consideration. The new website projects a strong image of West Bend and has added photos and videos collected through West Bend Community TV Department. The media rich site will not only be visually appealing but also easy to navigate.
The City of West Bend looked to accomplish many goals with the new website and at the forefront of that design process was an increased ability to communicate with the public. Other features include a portal for smooth job application process, simple reporting of an issue and effortless shortcuts on the homepage for ease of access with all your City of West Bend needs.
“Communication and providing information to the public is a priority for our city council” states City Administrator Jay Shambeau. “It is with these types of efforts we can hear from the public and serve our business community in an efficient and customer service oriented manner. A big thank you goes out to our City of West Bend Team, including the IT and Community TV departments for spearheading this project and acting with the public’s interest as a priority from the start.”
The City of West Bend has also put an emphasis on the mobile accessibility of the site. While the city has recently made an effort to communicate with the public through an increased social media presence, this website adds an extension of that process.
The City of West Bend invites users to explore the website and see what it has to offer. Please also take a second to follow the City of West Bend on Facebook to stay up to date in the community.
