The City of West Bend encourages residents to participate in the online National Community Survey presented by Polco. The survey is designed to provide a baseline of how the local government serves residents, gauge perceptions of the city, and make comparisons with peer communities. Acquiring input from residents will help city officials understand areas of strength and in need of improvement, helping guide future decisions on programs, policies and strategic plans. Click here to take the survey by January 20, 2021.The City of West Bend functions under a Mayor/Council form of government. Under this form of government, an eight member Common Council is elected, along with the Mayor, to serve as the legislative branch of government for the City. The Mayor and Council enact ordinances and resolutions, approve the annual budget, set policies and take other actions to supervise the processes of the West Bend government.
