The City Finance Administrator collects all city, school, county, and state taxes, and receives all monies belonging to the city or which by law, are directed to be paid to the City Finance Administrator. The Finance Administrator disburses the taxes collected to the proper entities as prescribed by law and disburses the funds needed to operate the City. The Finance Administrator invests the collected funds in accordance with the investment policy and keeps the detailed account of the funds collected and disbursed. The Finance Department records, tracks, and reports all City financial transactions and functions, and is responsible for the accounting and audit of the financial systems.
