Our Forestry Division cares for over 12,000 street trees, and thousands more on our park properties. Trees are pruned routinely to maintain healthy structure, dying or diseased trees are removed, and new trees are planted for future generations to enjoy.
- If you have a concern about a tree in the street right of way (between the street and the sidewalk) or in a City park or City owned property, please contact us at 262-335-5080 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- All street trees are periodically pruned by City certified arborists at no cost to homeowners.
- If a tree is marked with an orange dot, the tree is scheduled for removal. This service is also provided at no cost to homeowners.
- If you have a tree that has been removed or is marked for removal, you may request a replacement tree to be planted. Information on the City's Free Street Tree Program .
Silent Auction, Sale of Tree Logs
The City of West Bend periodically conducts a silent auction for the sale of trees logs. These are logs from trees which have been removed from our City parks or streets. If you would like to be on a contact list for information on the next wood auction, please call our Parks, Recreation and Forestry Dept at 262-335-5080, or email your contact information to email@example.com.
