Work for Forge Place construction will begin on Monday, July 12, 2021, on the east side of River Road, opposite Rail Way. The contractor may start mobilizing equipment to the site as early as July 08, 2021. We anticipate construction activities to last until the end of October 2021.
The general contractor for this project is Kruczek Construction of Green Bay, Wisconsin. There will also be a number of subcontractors working at various times during the project. Construction activities will include grading, installation of underground utilities, and installation of street improvements.
Most of the work will be outside of the River Road pavement, but there will be times when traffic patterns on River Road may be altered in the area to allow the contractor to complete some of his tasks.
Motorists are reminded to abide by all traffic control signs and devices, be aware of ongoing construction activities, as well as construction equipment on River Road entering and exiting the construction site. Alternate routes should be planned to avoid construction whenever possible.
The city contracted with Kunkel Engineering Group (KEG) of West Bend, WI to manage the construction contract and inspect the work. If you have any questions about this project, please contact Mitch Leisses, KEG, at 920-210-6330.
