West Bend, Wis. (June 30, 2020): Due to Independence Day, the City of West Bend Public Works Office and Drop-off Yard will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. The Office and Drop-off Yard will reopen on Monday, July 6, with normal operating hours.
The Garbage/Recycling Collection Schedule for the week of July 4, has not changed and will take place as scheduled on the normal collection routes. Residents are asked to please cooperate by placing their garbage and recycling at the curb by 6 a.m., as crews will be unable to be sent back to locations where garbage was not placed out early enough for collection.
City of West Bend residents are reminded that all leaves, lawn rakings and grass clippings must be bagged and brought to the Drop-off Yard located at 251 Municipal Drive. These items are not to be placed curbside or into the street gutter area. Leaves are only picked up in the fall.
All vehicles utilizing the services of the Drop-off Yard on Municipal Drive must have a 2020 permit sticker attached to the windshield. Permit stickers are available for purchase by City of West Bend residents and property owners at the Public Works Office for $25.00 or by visiting our website at www.ci.west-bend.wi.us.
